When exiting from hibernation or a simple start, the system starts to boot only after pressing F1. What's wrong? And why?

If you guess on the coffee grounds, then the options are:
- battery
- faulty keyboard
- incorrect settings for example for the processor, then some BIOSes ask the question - the user screwed up something here, go ahead with the default settings?
