The Google search engine is redirected to the Mail.ru search engine. What to do?
I use the Google Chrome browser, but this has not happened yet: the Google search engine is redirected to the go.mail.ru/ search engine. I write any word and the browser first shows the search results in Google and after a few seconds everything changes to go.mail.ru/. The mail does not create any attached tabs, it simply changes the search engine, despite the fact that by default everything is also set to Google. I cleaned the registry, deleted all the folders associated with Mail.ru, but the mail also continued to attack my search engine in Chrome. Tell me what to do in order to get rid of this annoying behavior of Mail.ru.

Looks like I found the reason. In the extensions, unchecked "Google Docs" and redirects to go.mail.ru stopped. It's strange why is that?
The same thing, cleaning the registry and other dances with a tambourine did not give anything. I would think of Google Docs as the last thing, since the Chrome Cleanup Tool turned off all extensions and left everything from Google.
After removing them manually, the problem went away.
Pretty strange. But it looks like the result of exposure to unwanted adware. Just in case, try to install the free Cleaner program and check the computer.
