The games have terrible ping, but the Internet is good. How to fix?
There is a good Internet (I even conducted an online test), which calmly loads YouTube videos in high quality, absolutely any sites and even Zoom-Conferences, but as soon as it comes to online games, everything is deplorable. Ping from 300 to 900. (Tested on World of Tanks and SAMP). How to solve this problem, maybe someone knows? Thanks in advance.

you need to choose servers, the ping to which is minimal
if the cause of the communication problem is your provider or an intermediate one (for example, it blocks out of harm), then there is some chance to manually find a workaround, raise a vpn server in the data center next to the game server and play through it, but this is a question good research and may not be cheap (at least to determine the very fact that the reason is in the provider who decided to put a spoke in the wheels, for this you need to conduct experiments and measure pings to different servers and from them to the game)
ps youtube speed is not an indicator, since your provider or nearby may have its caching servers,
you can look at speedtest.net servers by choosing a server not your provider and not nearby
What provider?
Is the PC connected to the router via wifi or cable?
What kind of router? How many other devices are connected to it?
Open cmd on the PC and make the command ping
ping 8.8.8.8
and then
ping 1.1.1.1
What will be the result?
Ps For online browsing, you need speed, but not ping. And the quality of the Internet is determined by both of these factors.
Drno ,
The laptop is connected to Wi-Fi. Router TP Link Archer C6, there are 3 other devices on it somewhere.
Result in cmd:
Ping statistics for 8.8.8.8:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0
(0% loss)
Approximate round trip time in ms:
Minimum = 42ms, Maximum = 43ms, Average = 42ms
Ping stats for 1.1.1.1:
Packets
: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0
(
0% loss)
This is the first time, to be honest. Literally last night, sharply ping in games began to be from 300 and above. Before that, the router did not change and the number of devices on it was the same.
