Have you checked for sure that absolutely everything is normal on the first laptop with a flash drive?
It opens, has the correct volume, all files are visible and copied, and after that the copies open normally (not broken)?
If there is something important on the flash drive, I would first of all advise you to make a copy of the data, make sure that everything is in order, then you can try to write some files there and see if they are copied normally after the drive is correctly removed.
on the second laptop, the flash drive is detected, it can be seen in the device manager, but it is not in the explorer

See what R.saver will tell you - will it see the flash drive and the files on it?
The program is free and does not require installation, the main thing is not to download it to the same flash drive.
In addition, after you figure everything out, and make sure that you have a working copy of all the data, you can make tests in R.tester . It will show memory problems if any.
You can additionally do a write test, but keep in mind that it destroys the contents of the drive irrevocably.

Maybe the connector is buggy in the second laptop? Have you tried connecting to different ones?
