Can I use a 3G USB modem without a computer?

Hello.
I have a Dension FM transmitter for my car with a USB port for a 3G modem - it is scripted to be connected to the Internet via a modem in order to listen to Internet radio.
The problem is that all the USB modems that I have tried automatically connect to the Internet only on the computer, and when plugged into the transmitter, the connection does not occur. I understand that the connection is not initialized without installing the appropriate driver.
Are there any 3G modems that will connect simply with USB power? Or maybe the Huawei modems I have can be configured in a similar way?
Thank you.

And what is your confidence based on that the USB socket on the transmitter is intended for a modem, and not for a flash drive?

Everything is very stretchy. A 3G modem has a bunch of its own internal specifics.
For example, the vast majority pretend to be a USB-Cd-ROM when power is applied to facilitate the installation of drivers under Windows. Therefore, carefully study the instructions from the transmitter for compatible modems and how to manage them. The 3G USB modem itself can be preconfigured to be compatible with the transmitter.
By default, nothing will work out of the box.
