The equivalent of "something like that" in English?

I want to warn you right away that I am asking this question out of pure curiosity, it is not of particular importance to me.
I often give answers on SO along the following lines: I explain in words what the questioner's mistake is, and what needs to be done to solve the problem. After that I write "Somehow like this" and provide the code.
I guess that this is not entirely correct, because I have never seen this phrase in such a context anywhere else. Most on SO write "Something like this" instead. But I think "somehow" looks better/correct than "something". But I'm certainly not Native English.
So I'm just wondering if this phrase has an exact equivalent in English? And if not, then how to translate it correctly?

1. Give context.
2. It is better not to write "somehow" because the reader will doubt the correctness of your answer.

Just like that. And not this, but that.
Words starting with Some***** in this context look like Runglish.
