The easiest way to set up a VPN to AWS VPC?

You need to set up VPN access to a private network in the AWS Cloud. The first attempt was to do something similar to https://www.comparitech.com/blog/vpn-privacy/how-t... And although this solution worked on a VPC with a default configuration, it does not work on a network with a slightly more complex topology . My limited networking knowledge is not enough to identify the problem and fix it. In this regard, I consider 3 options:
1. Find a network specialist who will do it for money. Maybe there are those who are interested in this resource.
2. Ask on the toaster for advice on other options that are more casual and do not require a slightly higher level understanding of networking technologies.
3. Start watching Cisco video tutorials and online courses, retrain in DevOps. Unfortunately, the option is too time-consuming to be at least somewhat real :(
I would be grateful for any hints.

It's better to describe your "more complex topology" and the problems you encountered.
As a rule, if everything started up in the default VPC, then when you raise the VPN host to the public subnet of your VPC, access to the inside of the VPC will work. Problems can be in routing, access (SecurityGroup \ NetworkACL) and other features of the organization of your VPC.
If you have only linux hosts inside your VPC - better not use VPN for administration . The recommended solution is a bastion.
To access your users inside the VPC, so far only VPN.
