The disk is dying, how to transfer information?

Apparently the hard disk is dying (slow write speed, disk read/write errors in the log).
Monitoring (SMART) showed no problems.
Given:
Programs (1C and Consultant) are located on the disk. There is a second hard one (to which the information should be transferred), only 2 hard ones can be connected to the computer.
An important note - the disk from which you want to transfer information is not a system disk.
How to copy the information to the disk so that after copying the programs work?

Just copy the data and that's it.
If copying passes without errors everything will work.
Otherwise, you will have to turn to the backup copy.
First of all, copy the base 1s.
The consultant does not contain anything important and unique, and it is easy to re-install.

you can remove the disk image from that disk, then everything will be the same as it is at the moment software, etc., or put the system on a new screw and install the software and configure

Artem Do you even think what you advise, Uncle? A person has only one physical disk in his computer now.
ramjke Connect the second HDD and clone along with the OS (there are different programs for cloning, google which one suits you best)

by simple copying if the disks are not system
ones, one disk can be plugged in via usb if there are not enough ports

There is a second hard one (to which the information should be transferred), only 2 hard ones can be connected to the computer.

So, initially you have only one disk.
Therefore, you are not talking about the whole disk, but about the user (non-system) partition of the disk. But since disk glitches are unlikely to stop on the user partition, sparing the system one, you need to change the entire disk.
Those. simply copying the data is not enough here, you need to clone the disk while it is still possible.
