The DHT22 sensor does not take readings. What to do?

There is an Arduino Uno, and a DHT22 sensor. I'm using the dht and Adafruit Unified Sensor libraries to output temperature and humidity readings. But I get the error "Failed to read from DHT sensor!
". I am attaching a photo of the circuit, I used an example of the dhtTester program. What am I doing wrong and how to solve this problem?5cf28aa7e548b120399732.jpeg5cf28af86e8c6153061994.png

In my opinion, one of the wires should be plugged into GND (always should, the ground is always common), and the other into 5V.
Your circuit cannot work in principle - the sensor has no power.
