The contributions counter is not reset after reset --hard?

Pushed a few commits to the wrong branch (~12/25/20), then reset --hard. But remote commits are still displayed on the chart, although they seem to be gone - git log is empty, and github itself does not display anything when clicking on these commits.

Strange thing, after a few hours - the problem disappeared by itself.
