The config on ESXi 6.0 is not updated after a reboot, what could be the problem?
Good afternoon. There is a server with ESXi 6.0 with a bunch of virtual machines and stacks. One negligent employee for some reason decided to hardware-forward a raid controller to a virtual machine, respectively, all the storage on this controller flew off. When you try to remove forwarding and restart the server, the configuration does not change, just as if you change something else, for example, enable SSH, then when you restart the host, the old configuration is loaded. I shoveled the Internet, they write that it is necessary to check the partition where the bootbank lies for errors, but the problem is that df -h does not show partitions, only one datastore and that's it. Bootbank refers to tmp, altbootbank does not have a directory. When you try to manually edit /etc/vmware/esx.conf and then reboot, the old config is loaded again. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
