The computer stopped turning on after going to sleep, what should I do?

The computer was sent to sleep in the evening, this was often practiced. This morning it refuses to turn on, there is no reaction to the power button. What could happen after the next sleep mode? What basic actions can be taken now, since I don’t know how to check the motherboard, PSU, etc. for operability.
