The computer does not start from the hard drive, what should I do?

There are ubuntu 10 i368 installation files on the hard drive. When you try to start from the disk says BOOTMGR is missing

There are ubuntu 10 i368 installation files on the hard drive.

Why are they there? What operating system do you want to run? If it's Linux it won't work.
