From time to time, there are reports in the press about the development of "vision" systems for blind people. The general meaning is simple - a signal from a video camera in a very simplified form is transmitted to some tactile peripheral device, a person learns to see literally with his skin.
I can't find any reviews of any particular system like this. Perhaps somewhere there is a list of such devices with responses? Something I can’t figure out what request to strain Google ...
