The choice of a productive and mobile laptop?

Good time of the day. I decided to change my 17 inch monster hp 4720s for something lighter, but unfortunately I can't choose. I would be extremely grateful if someone could help.
Here are a few things to consider:

  • I plan to use this laptop both at home and at work, and I plan to carry it up to 3 kilometers to work.
  • I need good performance, because at work I'm dealing with a large java project.
  • I have an external monitor at work, but I don't have one at home.
  • Ubuntu OS.
  • Budget up to 70k.

Based on this:
Display: 13-14 (> 1366x768) matte
Processor: i5-i7 (I don’t consider i3)
HDD: SSD 128-256 (It is possible with the usual one, and then replace it with ssd, but it’s better with it right away)
RAM: >= 8GB (In principle, it is possible with 4, if later it can be expanded to 8)
Video: Built -in (The most frail)
Thanks in advance.
UPD: This one is similar www.nix.ru/autocatalog/sony/sony_notebook/SONY_VAI... but not enough memory.

Thinkpads are very good) they just disassemble, just upgrade, you can install 3g built-in) via expresscard you can add usb3.0 or esata to your taste) matte case, 3-year warranty, thinklight, clitormaus and other chips)) x220 is good for having IPS in one model, weight and the ability to fasten the battery for 9 hours of work) there is another 420s - it has a flat battery for 4 hours, but you can insert a second one instead of a DVD, it will be about 8 or put a second hdd \ ssd. it’s also good with a 14 "1600 * 900 display, though not ips, but after a desktop monitor with a high resolution of 1360 * 760, they don’t even bribe me with the presence of ips)
x1 carbon and x230 somehow didn’t impress, it would be better if the resolution and matrices were improved.
i5 and i7 are different, I’ll note just in case) some ultrabook i5 sandy bridge with a seven at the end are not much ahead of the first generation i3 in tests)
p.s. but the new zenbook prime has IPS with a higher resolution)

Top builds of Thinkpad X220 or wait for X1 Carbon/X230.
hd3000 is not a discrete card, but I still can't imagine where it might not be enough in the daily life of a non-gamer / non-designer.

Take a look at the Dell Vostro too. I haven't seen it live, but I liked the pictures.

T420s - 14 inches, 1600 * 900, weight 1.6, memory up to 16GB can be finished off, instead of a drive, plug in hdd, in place of hdd - put ssd of the required volume and here it is a dream machine.

Samsung 900X3C - chose it. Balance of price, quality and performance.

Some considerations:
- It is better to replace the disk with a hybrid one. The price is the same as a regular one, and the 32 Gb SSD cache matches the speed with a pure SSD. The volume for a hybrid maximum is 750Gb, which is more than enough.
--It is also better to immediately replace the memory with a PC1800 and a minimum of 16Gb (preferably 32Gb). Sooner or later, you will have to deploy virtual machines, and they eat memory.
In connection with this, we choose a laptop from which all this can be dismantled, for example, HP EliteBook 2540p (WK303EA) on i7 ... costs 34 thousand and all the necessary extensions will cost another $ 400 (with 32Gb of RAM).
In principle, three kilometers on foot is not a conversation at all (it’s even ridiculous to talk about it on a bike in the summer). For carrying, a backpack is best, and in it an extra kilogram is not noticeable at all. So you can, I think, still find something more budgetary. Though HP quite. At least their service in Russia is established.

1) Reliability = Lenovo, Performance = MSI, Battery life = Acer TimelineX series
2) Sony, Asus = brand markup too high
