The case of the MacBook Pro 13 (2015) is swollen. What to do?
I have owned this device since February 2017, I bought a new one in the store, in a factory film. Before that, he had no complaints. I recently noticed that the lid of the laptop when closed does not fit snugly against the case. And he staggers a little on the table if you press on the edges. Googling, I came to the conclusion that the battery was swollen. I called Apple, they said to contact the local authorized center (there is only one in our city). I called there, they said that they are changing the topcase completely. This pleasure costs 17,000. Question: is it possible to change ONLY the battery not in an authorized service? How dangerous is it? Who faced a similar problem? And another question: is it safe to continue using a laptop with a swollen battery?
