Textbook Prokhorenok, Dronov - hopelessly outdated?

Hello!
I bought a textbook:
N.A. Prokhorenok, V.A. Dronov "HTML, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. The Webmaster's Gentleman's Suite." 4th edition. Spb., 2017.
As for the first section, the information turned out to be very outdated. The book basically talks about HTML 4 with numerous editorial remarks about how such and such a tag/parameter is obsolete and should not be used in Strict format.
Is it worth reading further? Or is it better to turn to other materials? Please advise sensible textbooks with up-to-date information!

Книжки сразу обо всем, изначально малопригодны для изучения технологий, но могут дать общее впечатления.
Так что, спокойно можете ее прочитать, что-то полезное да будет в ней, и посмотрите на технологии в общем. Затем уже читайте специализированную литературу по каждой технологии отдельно, параллельно с актуальной официальной документацией
