Terminal server + Active Directory + DNS how to disable explicit domain for XP?

Good afternoon. There is a terminal server. Put on top also the role of the Domain Controller. Operating systems older than Win xp picked up old RDP connections without problems, and on machines with Win XP itself, you have to change the connection parameters to the domain\user:password format, otherwise it says "The username or password is incorrect" because the name of the terminal server is specified in the domain. Where do you need to check the box so that the server starts up simply by login / password so that you do not have to edit dozens of shortcuts?
thanks in advance

In the Session Host Configuration console , open the connection properties, and on the Login Options tab , configure the domain in which you want to authenticate the user. If you have a farm, then such a setting can be distributed through GPO, but I don’t remember where.
