Teaching the discipline "Information and analytical technologies in management"

Question to habrasociety.
What do you think should be included in the discipline "Information and analytical technologies in management" for state and municipal government. The question is not idle, since you suddenly need to read such a discipline, but it is not yet clear what should be included in it.

Well, it seems like our information and analytical systems assume OLAP, data warehouses - for structured information. So, as an option, a workshop on the use of all this in relation to the state. and municipality. management, for example, the analysis of some social statistics or a plan-fact analysis of the budgets of something in OLAP.
Well, technical support depends on. From summary tables in Excel through desktop OLAP like Palo and forward all the way :)
Alternatively, work with workflow systems, if you wish, at least use search engines and process information on the topic. It all depends on what you want to teach and what they do with you after graduation :)

Isn't there a syllabus or rough list of study questions from above? Should be, ask management again!

Who is the audience? What level?
I think that we need to start with document management, planning and control systems. And if there is interest, move on to decision support systems.
If the audience is already ready, then immediately OLAP and other goodies.
