Hello everyone. There was a problem with the design of the taxonomy. I'm making a movie site, at the moment I'm pulling it up on wp.
Can't create taxonomy (year: , genre: , country: , duration: etc.) also on main page genres , by year , by country . I found information on the Internet about registering taxonomy in functions.php, but only part of it entered. I didn’t find the php code that needs to be inserted directly into index or single.php. If it’s not difficult, give the correct code for functions.php , index/single.php.

Use the Custom Post Types Ui plugin (CPT UI in search) plus Advanced Custom Fields. And there, based on them, you can see the creation code, if it's really like "plugins are evil, functions.php is good."
