Taking the WiFi antenna outside
There is a standard panel five-story building. I live on the fifth floor. There is a WiFi router in the room. The car has a CarPC with WiFi and an additional antenna. I park on different sides of the house, but usually on the far side of the router. From the near side, the machine catches the network normally, from the far side it does not.
The task is to provide a stable signal in the opposite direction. The distance from the router to the outer wall is about 10 meters in a straight line. If you pull the cable, then 15-20 meters. What methods can be used to achieve the goal?
So far, there are 2 options:
Run the antenna cable (wouldn't the signal go out at 0 at 20 meters?) And hang an external omnidirectional antenna slightly at an angle so that it covers the entire parking area.
Throw the winder, install an access point at the end and, if necessary, hang an omnidirectional antenna.

3rd option. Without wires. You can put not an antenna, but an AP as a repeater, (although the channel width will not be maximum).
Most likely, the signal will not go to zero, I would use the first option.
