System disk lock
Hello, about 5 years ago I met a program for Windows that prevented changes to the system (or any other selected) disk. Those. when shutting down, all changes made during the session are destroyed, and when the system is started, it is always in the same state (in my case it should be the state of a virgin installation). Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about?

There is a great thing in Windows 7: VHD - Virtual hard disks
there is such a feature:
Differencing hard disk image - a differential virtual hard disk image, contains only blocks changed relative to the parent image.
The ultimater version of Windows 7 also allows you to boot from VHD.
