I was puzzled by buying a home network storage with the function of mirroring data for a home photo and video archive. The volume is already 3tb, and this is not the limit.
Naturally desired features are DLNA, FTP, torrent downloader. Website hosting is good if it is, but not essential.
In terms of price, these devices are approximately in the same price category - the first is sold for 15tr, the second (if you take it on Celeron) will cost 18tr.
The question is which one to choose?
It is not so much the possibility of upgrading the hardware that is of concern, but the convenience of using the installed software (here the question arises - which axis is better to install on HP?).
The question of comparing other devices from these companies has already flashed on the toaster, but there it was required to install 4+ disks, but two are enough for me to start with.

HP with synology installed on it. Cheaper, faster, more reliable. and synology will give its buzz and convenience of the shell
