Synchronization of large files in OwnCloud, how is synchronization arranged?

I plan to move with all the data to my own OwnCloud cloud. And I want to and prick :-)
The main working tool is Adobe InDesign, the working source of the project weighs 1-2 GB on average, they are saved constantly, after each successful action, already at the level of reflexes. Hence the question. How does sync work in OwnCloud Mac client? After each click-save the document, will it try to re-upload the entire source code in its entirety? Or will it only send the difference to storage?
