Symfony2/Laravel/etc framework choice?
Good day
I have been stuck in my head for several days now: which framework to choose to learn?
Of the criteria that interest me:
1. Quality - which is better? Let it be more difficult than others, but on which one it still costs, it will direct all its forces.
2. Popularity - knowing which framework makes it easier to find a job.
Even at the moment I have a desire to create a message board, I started development on Symfony2. But I have already seen many pages on the Internet that this framework is for more complex projects.
Now I'm stuck on the choice between Symfony2 vs Laravel 4.2 (5th release coming soon)
What do you recommend?

They are similar, learn both. It's not to learn a separate language, it's a framework, a couple of weeks, a maximum of a month of study - and you, consider, know everything about the framework.
If you are not familiar with frameworks at all, start with Laravel, it is more human to beginners.
If you want to work on the web in php, then I would recommend symphony more than laravel.
I'll tell you a little secret.
Once you start learning Laravel, you'll find that a huge chunk of this framework is... Symphony components!
And about "better complex projects" I did not understand, to be honest. Avito is also a bulletin board. Do you really think that this is a simple script on a naked pokhap?
To answer directly, I think that Lara is more progressive, younger, more aggressive.
This is a really stupid comment.
Do not be offended, but only very children think that having studied some one "best" instrument, they will become specialists. It is necessary to study technology on the example of a tool. You can start with anyone. The main thing is not to stop after that, and continue to learn.
Symfony is more difficult, I haven't written in laravel.
From this, I think it follows that symfony for projects is more enterprise, i.e. playing for a long time. And not that it is worse)
In general, look at the vacancies for them. Might help you choose too.
If there are no problems with English, you can try Laravel: there are not so many materials on it in Russian due to its low popularity with us. If there are problems, it might be worth looking at yii2.
Symfony is already a slightly different level. (Cattle-) In principle, anyone can code on it, but in order to be imbued with it and its flexibility, you still need to come to this.
