Symfony CMF ready?

Today I thought about taking the following thing as a basis for projects on which I am currently working - Symfony CMF instead of my bicycle on bare Symfony 2 .
But the question arises, is it no longer raw and can it really be used in production without constantly sawing with a file?
How versatile can a CMS be made based on it? (It would be nice to use the developments of internal projects for external clients later)
