Switching and CSMA/CD one after the other or not?
Good day. Got a question on the exam, about packet switching. He told me everything he knew, but suddenly I was impatient to tell the access algorithms (CSMA / CD, TPMA, FDMA), and now I somehow doubted it. It's from the same opera, isn't it? That is, switching can be packets with a CSMA access method or not? And one and the other does not go beyond the first two levels of OSI?

Packet switching and media separation are somewhat different things.
The first works with the data inside the package in order to direct it to the right place.
The second defines the process of transferring an already switched packet .
