Switch/router performance comparison?

Good afternoon!
There are small misunderstandings when comparing network hardware.
Please do not poke into a well-known table .
Switches have a switch fabric parameter - as far as I understand, this is the ability to process L2 traffic.
For example, 3750 has 32gbps. this means 24 ports in full duplex cannot be loaded, right?
But with the pps and Mbps parameters for routers, it’s not very clear what it makes sense to pay more attention to?
Packages usually come in different sizes :) and you probably shouldn’t look at pps especially ...

no matter how it is not worth it, this is usually the most important parameter for the provider, since users have a lot of small packages.
If you are chasing jumbo frames between servers, then of course you can not watch.
mbps is megabits per second

1) L3 switches, in principle, do not care what to process - L2 or L3 traffic.
2) Yes, early 3750s are internally oversubscribed. But I don't think you can fit 24 gigabits into a piece of hardware with only gigabit ports. Damn non-trivial task. E and X lines are already unlockable.
3) Only pps determines the actual performance of L2 and L3 logic. However, with large packages, you can run into interfaces earlier than the capabilities of the piece of iron to process packets.
