Svg and canvas on the same object at the same time?

Hello, please tell me if there is an alternative to canvas in svg to globalCompositeOperation = lighter? Do you just need a glow effect while saving the rendered element as a DOM object (svg)?
If drawing a glow in a vector (svg) does not make sense, have you seen examples where svg + canvas are used simultaneously on the same element?
In general, I have the case when svg is in principle completely suitable (objects are used as the user interface of a web application), but the limitations or complexity of implementing external effects such as glow in the svg vector do not fit.
