SV1107IPEXT - what protocol does it work with?

Who knows what protocol this thing works on ?
Is it possible to connect via VNC or RDP, or does the other end have to have the same thing?

He doesn't need VNC or RDP.
A monitor, keyboard, mouse and network are plugged into it, you connect to a controlled computer with a cord (video and USB (keyboard / mouse) in one cable).
You can control the connected computer both from the connected keyboard and mouse, view the picture on the monitor, and remotely over the network.
General wiring diagram on page 17 of the manual.
IMHO, there is not much sense in such a single-port device. If you take it, then on several ports, so that you can manage several computers.
The advantages compared to remote access via RDP or VNC are obvious - you can, for example, remotely configure the BIOS of a connected computer or install an OS from a device connected to the device.
This is an analogue of IPMI or Intel vPro for computers that do not support these technologies.
