Surfshark macOS Monterey stopped working. How to fix?

After updating to MacOS Monterey, VPN Surfshark stopped working. I select the country to connect to, in the next window I click "Add VPN configuration". Next, Surfshark asks for permission to add a VPN configuration - I click "Allow". Two 2 seconds there is an attempt to connect, and is reset.

Tried to run from sudo - did not help.
