Success stories about making money in the Chrome Webstore?

Has anyone ever come across success stories about paid chrome apps/extensions?
It’s very curious what they did there, that they also pay money for it :)

I used to explore the chrome store before deciding what price to put on my app. As a result, I came to the conclusion that all applications there are distributed exclusively for free. I think it's hard to sell something there.

Considering that the majority of people use chrome on desktops, it is not advisable to buy something that would later be used in the browser.
