Hey!
For example, there is a website with a catalog of goods, goods are segmented by manufacturer.
How best to do:
1) manufacturer.site.ru/products
2) site.ru/manufacturer/products
All products are similar in categories - various construction tools.

A subdomain is a separate site. Hence it follows that the second option. Because the first will be several sites and will have to promote each separately.

Second option. To produce subdomains for each manufacturer is, in my opinion, too much.
