Stress test for a router?

Hello, there was a need to arrange a stress test for the router (I did modding, now I'm trying to load it). All that comes to mind is the torrent load. There is little information on the topic on the net. Perhaps someone had a similar experience.
Thanks in advance!
Router: ASUS RT-N16, default firmware: 1.0.2.3.

Run a torrent for 10 thousand streams and your router will be bent.

If the firmware is default, then what is your modding? In that you customized the case? Then what are the goals of a stress test?

Sorry, but you are confusing warm with soft. at peak traffic load, there will be an effect that all available channel bandwidth will be used. Even on the DIR-300 at 50 Mb / s, there were no problems with cooling and overheating.
