Strange battery behavior (Android)?

Problem: On my Nook Color, the battery behaves strangely: the charge drops to about 7-8% and the body is chopped off. I tried to calibrate the battery using programs from the android itself and did a wipe from clockwork.
Maybe someone knows how to fix it?
PS used to be discharged to the end
PS 2. The firmware was different: CM6, CM7, now MIUI, everywhere the same

Probably not. These percentages are often used (at least in other phones) as backup power. For example, on nokies, even if they turn off and do not turn on again, the alarm clock will work. Probably for this

This works protection. In general, it is not recommended to allow the battery to discharge more than 10-15%. If your battery is discharged almost to 0, it is not unlikely to suffer greatly, or even die.

If earlier it was “completely discharged” and you did it regularly, then these 7% of you simply died, because. the battery must not be discharged to zero.
