Stages of creating an application (for a non-programmer)?

Good afternoon.
Such a question: if there is a need to create an application, but there is no relevant knowledge. Naturally, I think that my application will create a revolution (but how else?), and therefore I don’t want to just order on freelance (they will steal the idea and all that) ... Therefore, the question arose, how can this be implemented? I assume that for a start something like a company, or an individual entrepreneur, is opened, and an employee is hired under an agreement in which everything will be spelled out that everything developed by the company's employees is the property of the company ... something like that?
And if he looks at the technical task, sees that it is pi .... what a promising application, and says sorry, I can’t work for you / lack knowledge / I urgently move to another city / etc. And he will drink the application himself at home .... In general, these are my fears ... -(

Eugene, I don't want to upset you, but as it was correctly written above, the idea is worth nothing.
If you launch your project successfully - after 2, maximum 3 weeks, its crooked (and not very crooked) clones begin to appear. Read the history of the prism from the latest. And there is still a complex technology inside (a conditional freelancer will not write this to you).
In order to survive and develop successfully, you need to
a) Have a non-alienable and non-copyable advantage. It can be technology, it can be an audience, it can be an exclusive partnership with someone - and so on and so forth. But without this - nothing.
b) Have a clear development plan for at least a couple of years (and not be afraid to adjust it)

Application development and business creation are different industries.
For example, a lot of developers around the world can make an Instagram application, it is much less likely to launch such a business and it will be more businessmen than developers.
Therefore, you can not be afraid that the developer will take the project away, invest his money, take risks, decide to establish business processes, and all sorts of managerial dregs.
Why would he?
A smart person understands that the chance of "shooting" is 1 in 10 (what a brilliant idea you didn't have there).
Therefore, the developer will not risk his own money, but attract external investments, this is not our forte. :)
Those who are interested in this are most likely already doing their own project. You are addressing those who prefer to sell their time for a fixed amount, without any cranes in the sky.
Well, plus for the paranoid, there are all sorts of NDA.
And smart people take a service station to the team, which, in addition to a good salary, is given a couple of percent of the project.

Just a good idea is not enough. We still need a successful implementation, thought out in detail. You need at least brainstorming together with a developer and a UX expert (it turns out to be also important).
If you still need to store some data outside the mobile phone, then you still need to think over the web service and invest in building the infrastructure.

There are a lot of ideas floating around in the world. Do not be afraid that your unique idea will be stolen or appropriated.
Look for people, get them interested and work!
