SSD problem in MacBook Pro 13 line. Who will tell the details?
A message has arrived, which is mentioned on Habré . Tell us who took their Macs to the service center, what happens there, how long does it take?
It’s just that I don’t understand if, as they say in the comments of the habr, they just roll up a utility, why it can’t be done at home and not carried anywhere, because we’re not climbing into iron ...
And it’s also interesting if there are those who still have " welled up" ssd due to the fact that the utility did not roll?

You first check whether your MacBook falls under the extended warranty https://www.apple.com/ru/support/13-inch-macbook-p...
As it is written on the official Apple page, only the firmware will be replaced. Apparently this cannot be solved with simple updates, and the firmware of such components is not so simple, and in order to avoid even bigger problems, it is better for trained people to do it, otherwise you can even get a brick, and you can’t replace the SSD separately there, then just change the entire motherboard!
As far as I know, the problem is with the loss of data, not a breakdown of the SSD ... If you don’t update, the SSD won’t work - but at some point it may refuse that there are no files)
