Spam from beeline(?) on iPhone?
Hello. Today I got rid of a small mammoth from 2003 and got an iPhone 2g off the shelf.
As soon as I inserted the SIM card from the bee, I immediately received a notification ala:
'Free! everything you can only dream of during the day becomes available at night'
Cancel Accept.
This shit didn't come as a text message, and I don't even know what.
Like an incoming call directly ...
How to get rid of this? How does is called? Is this beeline?
Before that, the phone was generally with a USA SIM card and for a couple of years of use I NEVER saw this (in the states, of course)!

It comes not as an SMS, but as a service message.
I advise you to google the codes to disable all advertising services.
The most interesting thing is that even after dialing this "cunning" combination, spam (advertising) still comes!
Killed Beeline!
Maybe it depends on the region, or I just got lucky.
In Novosibirsk, nothing comes to Beeline (already the second number), unlike MTS, for example.
Depending on your phone model, look for something like "Sim menu" in the menu. There is a "Chameleon", it can be turned off.
In any case, it is better to disable services through the control panel on the site.
And for good, you need to write a letter to them demanding to stop any advertising mailings to your number (according to the Law “On Advertising”, it seems, article 185, paragraph 3, like: in case of notification, the operator is obliged to immediately stop sending blah blah blah).
I cut off everything in this way, except for useful SMS and USSD requests :)
Let me raise a question. Since I want to talk about another method, you can call the operator and ask him to put a ban on advertising, here on the promobile all the numbers are described to get to the operator. But the most effective method is to go to the office and do it all there.
