Sound services not responding, how to fix?

Good afternoon. At one point, the sound on the ASUS laptop disappeared. Diagnostics gives an error "Sound services are not responding". Restarting the services didn't work. Reinstalling drivers - zero effect.

The sound does not go to both the internal speaker and the external one.

Virus scan - no viruses. Removing the antivirus (in a similar question was) did not help.

Either the sound is disabled in the BIOS, or the chip is faulty.
