Sound processing?
For sound processing, radio stations usually use FM processors (after receiving from a satellite). After the audio signal passes through it, the sound is voluminous, more saturated, etc.
For example, such a device:

It costs hellishly expensive, so I want something free =)
Are there software analogs of FM processors in nature? In particular, the sound handler for Linux is of interest. Preferably a console one, although a gouish one will do.

The person asks about signal processing in real (or so) time. It's hard to give advice here. The only thing that comes to my mind is jack + jackrack + corresponding LADSPA plugins. But it's all under gui.
Offhand linuxopen.ru/2008/08/29/jack-rack.html found here.
Well, accordingly, jack control can be resolved inputs and outputs (if you plan several sound cards)
