Sound card not working on laptop?

Laptop : Irbis NB47
Stock OS : Windows 10 Home x86
Problem :
Actually, instead of Windows 10 Home x86 I installed Windows 8 Pro x86.
Then I found and installed all the drivers using DriverPack Solution
. But for some reason, the sound does not work, when you hover over the speaker icon, it says "audio output device is not installed." Clicking on this icon opens a troubleshooting window, the result of which is "Maybe no hardware configuration changes were detected", and no unknown devices hang in the device manager.

How can I make the sound card work on Win8?
