Using Visual Studio LightSwitch?
Hello, tell me please, LightSwitch technology is being developed (supported), namely the desktop version with Silverlight. The task is to write a database for passenger transportation, or is it better to look in the direction of 1C and not bother. In the Russian segment, development has not been heard for a long time, and I am afraid that I will choose a deliberately unsupported technology.

LightSwitch is a very unpopular technology. from .Net it's much easier and more efficient to do on ASP MVC
what does "writing a database for passenger transport" mean? Database development is not for .Net and LightSwitch. This is another level. It is necessary to choose from a DBMS based on tasks, capabilities and infrastructure.
if everything works for you on 1C, there are 1C programmers, then naturally it will be much easier to do it there. It's easier to support later.
.Net if you choose - you won't regret it, but we need .Net programmers in the team.
