Sorting in search of a toaster?

Is it possible to sort the toaster search results (search?q=) at least by date. And according to other criteria? (Ideally, the filters would be by tags, but then I'll screw my lip :) ) And now the chaos is such that try to find it.
Or maybe where there is a description of the url parameters or query syntax?
How is the search on the toaster implemented? and How to optimize search on Toaster? I saw, they didn't answer.
PS. I know about google kernels, and I know how to use their query language. But they do not solve everything / can, and the question as a whole is not the point.
