Why rating on toster.ru?

What does the rating affect (besides adding weight to likes) and is it somehow connected with Habrahabr?

Doesn't affect anything (so far).

The rating system on the Toaster is now in its infancy. Soon he will illustrate the contribution of each to a particular tag. It will be possible to see the most competent on each topic. Such people can be entrusted with some moderator functions. They can also be recommended to the authors of questions as experts who can be called to your question (for additional bonuses). It will be possible to set up a feed for yourself to receive questions only from people with a certain rating.
The rating on the Toaster has nothing to do with Habr yet. But there is an idea in the future on the Habr profile to display a block of reputation earned on the Toaster. And vice versa, on the Toaster profile, display a block of earned reputation on Habré.

Is there a rating on the toaster?
Just noticed now. I also thought why people ask to mark their answers as a solution if there is no rating here.

Rating is not just that. It is needed for the page toster.ru/users
So it looks like @inkvizitor68sl made a mistake

It does not affect anything, but it can serve as a factor in assessing the experience of the one who wrote the answer.
