[Solved] Why can't Inkscape see the font installed on the system?

Inkscape 0.48, Windows 7 x64.
The system has the Euclid Math Two font installed (included in the MS MathType font set). OpenOffice lets you use this font, but Inkscape doesn't want to see it point-blank. What could be the problem?
TrueType outline font. In Inkscape->Text->Text and font… it doesn't exist.

Well, Inkscape has been put on Windows for so long, it turns out!

some symbol/glyph fonts like wingdings are not recognized by Inkscape on Windows platforms
