[SOLVED] Proxmox 3.1 on Debian 7. How to correctly disable/configure ip6?
Good afternoon, comrades!
Given:
No cluster, only 1 node.
There are 3 interfaces on the server that look at the Internet.
Each interface is tied to its own bridge (vmbr) and ip4 addresses do not have
iptables (for v.4) configured correctly.
ip6tables was not configured.
Kernel:
Linux prox5 2.6.32-26-pve
Help me configure the server so that,
1. Either disable IPv6 altogether and what it will lead to,
2. Or another way to block access to the hypervisor via ip6.
Googled it myself.
The absolute way to disable ip6 on any kernel is to add a parameter to kernel
startup ipv6.disable=1
