A little off topic advice, but it would be better not to take a laptop with keyboard backlight. If you work in such lighting that a backlight is required, then spoil your eyes with this and quite strongly. And laptop lighting is also not very good for the eyes, due to bright spots on a dark background.

Alienware M11x (in my opinion, on the whole new line, so)
RGB backlighting of the keyboard, indicators, logo - everything is configured through the native utility. The colors are independent, i.e. indicators can be made purple, logo red, backlight green.

Dell has the Allienware brand under which high performance laptops are made.
You can order a backlight for any of them (there is a choice of colors). There are i7 processors, and several video cards, and a bunch of other high-tech options.
