[SOLVED] CUPS autoinstall drivers from print$
Hello Habrazhitel!
I set up a CUPS server on Debian, opened access to the printer (Samsung ML-2010) via IPP and Samba . The
printer is accessed from Windows XP. The printer works successfully, but each time you install it, you have to manually specify the path to the storage of original drivers from the manufacturer in Windows.
Copying files from print$ with Windows XP and the same printer to the Debian server's samba print$ share did not solve the problem.
The launch cupsaddsmb -H windows_mashine -U user -h localhost -a
of the errors did not give out, but it did not solve the problem either.
I ask to help those who faced such a problem
Thanks in advance.
