Smooth animation in jqueryMobile?

Is it possible to make smooth page transition animations in jqueryMobile?
In jqtouch, the transition animation is better, but I don't want to give up jqueryMobile's rich ui just because of the animation

Sometimes it helps to make the animation slower if it suits you. And so, here the problem is in phones and processor power. JQuery on computers sometimes slows down, what can you say about mobile :).
