Smart Object from Photoshop to Illustrator?
There is a .psd layout, it has a smart object layer that I need to save as SVG. I want to open it in Adobe Illustrator and save as svg. How to do? I clicked twice on the smart object icon - it didn't help, it opened in a new photoshop file.

Smart opens in Illustrator, it seems, only if it is inserted as a vector (from the buffer or via drag-and-drop). But I could be wrong, this is just my personal observation.
If the smart object contains vector elements, then you can simply open the smart object in Photoshop (double click on it) and save it as EPS, for example. Then open in Illustrator and save as SVG, checking if everything is in order with the objects.
If the objects are raster, then you will have to convert them to a vector manually.
